Copperfield has been doing alterations onsite for over 35 years. Our highly experienced tailors can perform the most exacting of requests. Furthermore, our expert fitters are here to offer advice and walk the client through the fitting process so that your garment will be altered to perfection.

On a daily basis we perform simple alterations such as hemming a trouser leg, shortening of sleeves, tapering of trousers or even just sewing on a button. Recently though, we have seen an increase in clients wanting their suits fully re-fitted in order to make them more slim fitting and in keeping with the current fashion trends.

For Ladies wear we can also provide the same service. We can perform simple alterations to Ladies trousers, skirts, blouses or more extensive work to Evening Dresses, Bridesmaid Dresses, Vintage clothing and if required full re-cuts of garments.

Our repair service is something that is normally needed for an on the spot fix. We cover everything from a simple seam split to the more involved such as a full reline to your favourite jacket. With repairs it is always best for us to see the repair in store and we can show our on-site tailors and walk you through the various options available to you..
